I think its an older piece because of it just saying STERLING but I cannot figure out the other mark. Any help would be greatly welcomed!

Can you draw and post a picture of the manufacturer's mark?

I can't figure out what it is or I would. It looks like a C or a G and then maybe a number but I'm really not sure.

I can't read what appears to be an initial or figural before the word sterling. But, it's southwest American or possibly Mexican, it's small, is the turquoise in good shape? It doesn't appear to have the finish of a refined artist piece so I wouldn't worry too much about who made it. I see a line in the turquoise and hopefully that's not a chip but natural.
You can look at sterling turquoise pendants and review prices sold, and I would take the small size of the pendant into consideration when doing comparison pricing.
One thing you can try when a loupe won't help with a mark is a rubbing. You can put a piece of paper over the mark and then rub on top with a pencil and sometimes it will appear clearer.

So you do not think it is Native American?
Because if so there is a great site showing marks from different artists.

That looks like something the Chinese would try to pass off as Sterling on back, but the front looks really nice. Did you test it for Sterling? And it might be 925,

Thank you very much for your response! I will do what you suggesed and I also will try the rubbing. Thanks again!

It may possibly be, I can't say because I can't read the mark. That's one suggestion for using a rubbing on the mark, or a loupe, to be able to see it more clearly than we can here.

I haven't tested it yet. I will be sure to do that though. Thanks!

It does have an odd sheen to it, so I know what you mean about the color of the metal.
925 IS sterling, same thing.
OP here is a native American and southwest mark site, you can browse these for a few ...hours...

Unfortunately even if Native American as small as it is, probably not the big bucks.

It also looks like it was poured into a mold, and not hand worked - to me, anyway.

The sheen might be the cleaner I used. I cleaned it today. It was super tarnished...
Thank you for the link. I will check that out, I didn't even concider that to be honest.
I really appreicate all the replys and help. Thank you!

In this case with our suspicion the tarnish is a very good thing.

Did the chain have any markings?

People "marry" unrelated chains with pendants all the time, so it's not an accurate tool to use to research pendants.
