Did you mean:

Well, this is embarrassing. We're sorry, but the listing tool isn't working right this second.

Since Saturday (8/26/2023), I haven't been able to use the listing tool.

I keep getting redirected to a global error page with the message,

"Well, this is embarrassing.
We're sorry, but the listing tool isn't working right this second.
Please try again later."

Is this happening to anyone else?
Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

I get those messages sometimes so what I do is wait a few seconds and then I hit the refresh button. It's worked every time for me.

@edwina22kelly

Are you signed on for managed payments? You have nothing for sale.  You may want to check into if you are not signed up.  It's important.  You need a method to be paid from your customers.  Here's a link that may be helpful:

had this happen too. i think you'll get this message if you try to revise an item that you've sent an offer on.

i sent an offer to a potential buyer who was watching a coin listing. the potential buyer pointed out that i had uploaded the wrong photo for a coin. but since i sent him the offer, i can't revise the photos.

Re: Well, this is embarrassing. We're sorry, but the listing tool isn't working right this second.

The first thing I'd check is if you have your account set up properly to be a selling account.  There are specific requirements for this as described in the links below.  You can't just list with a buying account.  There are more requirements on the account to be able to sell too.

Please review the below link carefully. It contains very important information as to how Ebay needs to see the information you provide them on your account. It is likely easier to change your Ebay account to match your bank account if you find there to be a difference.

Get this all the time clicking the "Have one to sell? Sell now" link. Ebay engineers are sleeping at the wheel...

@xantari79

If I could be suggestive, you may want to post this problem on the technical issues forum:  Here's a link:

Hopefully they'll be able to help you out

Good luck!
