Looking back, 2023 has been a rough year. Selling here once was fun, but now The Thrill Is Gone. The jingle of coins in my pocket has been replaced with The Sound Of Silence. How about those slow weekends? Lately there's no Sugar On Sunday. And don't get me started on weekdays, now Tuesday's Gone With The Wind. I'm tellin' you it's been tough, I'm just Ridin' The Storm Out. Eventually I'll just Drift Away.

Don't let it bring you down
If your sales are all slow burning
Find some items that are turning
And you will come around

My sales are down 15% TY vs LY. Average Sale (per sale) is the same as LY. 

I'll blame the economy, stock market etc. since I sell very frivolous items.

Inflation is shifting money to living expenses.  People have had to cut back on what they buy.

I joined e-bay March 31, 2022.. Made my first sale around April 3rd and did pretty good until mid-November. Then Jan. 2023 was good, Feb. sold half what I did in Jan., then did low sales until early Nov. this year. Now sales are way down again. I was going to give up but several other posters told me to keep trying and I guess I will keep on trying.

Hopefully things will improve soon.
