Re: Weekly chat?

Did I miss setting something up correctly and, so, missed the video?

AND, no weekly chat?

Re: Weekly chat?

What has happened to the chat? What’s with the videos?
The death of Ebay radio. Is the chat next? I along with msny older users hate video and have no idea how to use it.

Re: Weekly chat?

Maybe the video was over on Facebook?  I would have missed it anyway - don't 'do' that.

I watched the video from the post on the Weekly Chat board. It actually played really well with no glitching or buffering.

Re: Weekly chat?

Interesting.  I was over there on the link Alan put up and got nothing.  Guess I didn't have things set right.  Oh well, wouldn't be the first time - though would have been the first time for an ebay video.  Thank you.

Re: Weekly chat?

@gracieallen01

At 3:19 or so I clicked on "books" reminder to them to start the chat. I clicked on that link.

A video comes up with instructions to click on the audio which was turned off. I sat there from 3:31 until the end. At they beginning they announced in a flubbed sentence only 7 questions. How can that be when I know there were a ton of pre-questions sent in over the past weeks.

In regards to account questions? They said someone else will answer them at eBay Open? Or call in? Plus, Bob kept telling people to put any other questions to the Community, not so much to their other places like Face Book & I think he said Seller Center. Except later on Audry said to use all of those places to pose further questions.

Nothing was really answered. Total waist of my sight and ear time. Then they signed out at I think it was 4pm. Total waste.

Only thing I got from it was yes, we are stuck with the hidden completed/sold listings. And they kept saying it is one click to get to the completed one but I'm having to do more than one click ... I click on the word listing and it takes to the mini version of the listing where I again have to click to go to the complete listing. Too much bother ... I'm done helping buyers and sellers with problems with these listings.

Re: Weekly chat?

I thought it quite interesting that Doug 'described' it as "Bob Kupbens Mid-Year Check-In".  That doesn't make me think of anything in-depth - just another job description obligation preformed.  The hype seemed to be 'Ask a question, Get an answer.'

Oh well, just call CS, I guess.

Hi @gracieallen01

All looks good here. I even logged out and could see it. Others have advised they watched without issue too. Keep trying!

Re: Weekly chat?

@readabouthorses

AND...the justification for that process was just nonsensical. When I go to my fave seller FB and click on an item they sold, someone elses listing comes up and then that stupid blue line where the word listing isn't even highlighted.

And the item they are showing me has no relevance to the one my fave seller sold. The other day I forgot it worked that way did my click fave seller, looked up and thought, oh my she changed her ID before I realized it was someone else. Just pure dumb. If a listing has ended or sold, it should say sold/ended like before. It isn't happening on all listings either. The reasoning that a buyer would see the sold listing as active and move on is just crazy. Well, ebay, then you need to edit the listing that says sold/ended and bring up that other seller stuff that is at the bottom. Hope making sense here.

The one I love the best? discussion about partials and not getting back what you sent? I know Bob made a side comment sort of mumbled he sells and it's okay to him if he gets something back that is different and shrugged. What? If I get back a rock, I better be able to get a full price reimburse back.
