We had an email from
sellergrowthUK@ebay.com
is this anything to do with ebay they have ask for the buyers ID or bank statement .
They have told us if we don't reply within 20 days we will be stopped to sell any Vape items.
We already using Verifymyage app which makes sure the buyers are above 18 years old , and they charge us for this service.
After 2 years on ebay , we are really fed up with the way they are treating us . I contacted ebay customer service but they couldn't confirm if the email was real .

You should post on the U.K. boards. eBay does not allow vape products in the US and I don’t think we have that program.

Hi @whyteschips5 You can forward that email to spoof@ebay.com and they will let you know if it is legit or not. Good luck.

I have done this , but they haven't replied me back as of yet.
Important Ebay messages should come in your ebay message box I always thought .

Sounds like a complete scam. Why would eBay need anyone's bank statement? And 3rd party age verification is par for the course when selling age specific items online. I'm sure you never even see the buyers ID card. Phishing I think.
Here on USA ebay vaping is not allowed at all so we live in ebay fear and don't know any of the ins and outs.
I hear those vape things are very dangerous, a vape battery could explode in your pocket and burn up a perfectly good pack of cigarettes.
