Can someone tell me what the "WE DON'T SUPPORT VARIATIONS FOR AUCTION STYLE LISTING" means. We sell single and unique vintage and antique items and this message often times comes up when we create a listing. Trying to understand why sometimes I have to pay for an auction style listing. We have a store so it makes no sense and I can find no information about this.

"Variations" are for fixed-price listings ONLY.
That's because auctions always have a quantity of 1 and everything in the auction is for "one money." Single unit, all or nothing.

Depends on the category you list in. Your free auction-format insertions can be used for auctions in 13 specific "fashion" and "collectibles" categories. If you list in other categories (e.g., Home & Garden), then you will be charged the regular auction insertion fee.
