We can now accept checks and money orders for payment again?

I was revising a couple of listings yesterday when I noticed there are again check boxes for personal check and money orders as accepted forms of payment. Are these now acceptable forms of payment again here on ebay?

Would that be the reason right there? "Pay on pickup" for a Local Pickup item would presumably mean checks or MOs in addition to cash, if the seller will accept them. (Me, I'd want either cash or a USPS Money Order; no checks)

Doesn't seem to matter if I choose local pick-up or not, the payment options are there.

Yep, it's one of the cats where you have those payment options.

Maybe in categories where prices might often exceed $10,000 (PayPal's limit)?

Yes, forklift parts. I really thought it was only ebay motors that could still accept checks/MO's.

But paypal removed the part where the payment has to be made in one transaction, so even something that sold for 22k could now be paid for through PP(although there would no way in Dante's Inferno that I would accept that) and the buyer would still be protected.
