Warning - Offers to sell outside of eBay

I just got this warning email for a listing I ended several days ago.  I only got one message from someone who was interested, which was when I started the listing two weeks ago, and I never responded to them.  Can ebay ding me for fees for a listing I took down?

They can, will they?  another story.  Many have reported a "warning Letter" sent to them, I don't believe any resulted in FVF taken.  If Ebay did take them - I bellieve they would tell you first that a FVF was taken out and then you would have to appeal their position to get that credit back.  If you did not respond to those ebay messages - I would not worry too much.

Did you end the listing or did it expire ? If you ended the listing, did you get the message "after" receiving a message that someone wanted to buy it, or "before" getting a message that someone wanted to buy it ? It makes a big difference as to the chain of events.
