Looks to me like it would be some sort of humanitarian organization. That's a person, IMO.

Its the old logo for Manpower, which is a temp agency.

Looks like the older logo for the Manpower Group, which was or still is some sort of employment/job placement organization.

I only knew because I had a TIffany pen a few years back and it drove me crazy trying to figure out what the logo was rofl

I am female, so "Manpower" was a misnomer. BUT, they gave me my first real job when I was at business college. Part time, but they had a program... If your "temp" employer liked you enough, they could buy out your contract and hire you full time.
This company was my blessing to make the leap to full time administrative work in the early 70's. The business "bought" my contract to get a release for me. Good company for those that were not degreed but needed the jump/chance to prove equal:)
