Confused and frustrated here. Will try to explain this in an understandable manner.
I am attempting to offer a tiered percentage volume price discount to all items I have listed in the Books category.
I have tried using both the Promoted and Markdown Manager portals. Both take me to the same page where I can create the discount percentages and add listings to the promotion.
Both times I have used the top navigation on the form to select my Store category. Then I select books from the dropdown menu. I select the top little box which puts a check mark at each listing. The form then shows I have 200 listings added to the promotion.
I chose buy 2 save 5% - buy 3 save 8% - buy 4 or more save 10%.
I do not check the box that creates the discount for individual listings as I want the discount to apply to all listings in my Book category. Meaning that if a buyer purchases item A, item B and item C the discount would be applied to the entire order.
Checking the apply to single listing would mean buyer would have to purchase 2 or more of the same item only.
I select the end date of the promotion. Example Dec 31, 2020.
Everything looks fine so I click the launch button.
Well, I don't think it's fine.
When I look at one of my coloring book listings it states in red Save 10% or more at the top and shows the volume discount boxes. BUT, the "see all items available" is missing. I don't think the discount is being applied to multiple purchases of different book listings.
So I returned to my Promotions page. The volume pricing I just created is there and shows as active but the number of items shows just a - line and no quantity.
What am I doing wrong?
