So I am entering my internal part number I have for my DVD and VHS players I am selling. Things like DVD-1 or VHS-5 under the "Custom Label (SKU)" field.
Problem I am having is I get a notification someone bought an item, but I can't find a way to see what that items "custom label (sku)" is.
I can view active listings custom label sku, by going to "revise" the lising and seeing what it is, but a sold item I can't figure it out.
Thanks for any help

just for info, I believe it's only viewable in the sold/active pages in seller hub. I could never find it in myebay sold/active pages. You do have to customize the pages, as deals says.

In your eBay's sold listings page there should be a "customize" button near the top right by the "comments" button. That customize button allows you to remove/add certain columns in your sold page. Look for "Custom Label (SKU)", make sure it's checked, then apply. Done.
You can only see the custom labels in your active page, sold pages, and listing revision page. For instance if a buyer messages you about that item (before or after they bought it) you will not see the custom label within that message... only the listing ID and title. It also doesn't show up when eBay emails you notifying that you sold the item.

I have no clue what a "seller hub" is, but why in the world can I not view what internal item has been purchased?
The field is there and I fill it out with my internal number when I list the item.

In order for the SKU field to be useful - it needs to be visible in the packing list. I just updated my listings with SKUs - because some of my listings have long variation names - and they get truncated on the packing slip. So - I don't know what to pack when I print my packing slips.
2 things I need - SKUs on packing slips, and wraparound / longer text fields for packing slip items - expecially when they are exported to Shippo for their packing slip forms.
I don't think anyone will be able to help me out here - I'm hoping eBay finally picks up on this since they've been pushing to have SKUs, UPCs, and other identifications fields filled by sellers in their listings.

I do wish that eBay would include a seller's custom sku number in the "Congratulations! Your Item Has Sold" emails. It sure would make life a lot more easy for me when I have sold something and need to go pull it off of the shelf so that I can ship it.
The way that it stands right now, I have to log into eBay and go to my "Orders" page located within the Seller Hub in order to view my custom sku number for that particular item.

I do not have the column for custom label on my orders/awaiting shipment page, like the photo above. Please see my attached screen shot below. I also do not find any way to customize the orders page, like you can do with the active listings page, to add or remove columns. I cannot find a way to add the custom label to the packing slip or the invoice for our own records. We have grown to the point where we are starting to need a better way to find our inventory after it is sold, and the custom label field seems like it could be a good solution, but as it is now I cannot find a way to make it work for us. If we have a single item in a listing and it sells and the only place to find the custom label is in the active listings, then there is no longer a way to view the custom label after it is sold, since it would no longer be an active listing. I may be missing something, because this is new for us, but I have searched eBay, the eBay Community, and Google. I have tried to see if I can customize the packing slip/invoice, invoice for our own recors, the sales record page, the orders page, site preferences. I have spent well over an hour trying to figure this out and I am out of ideas. To me, it seems like I would have that column if I had selected it to show up on my orders page before eBay updated the orders page, but now that it has been updated there does not seem to be a way to add it at this time. Thanks for any help or suggestion anyone can give.

As others have said.........you need to go to seller hub........this page
and click on customize in the upper right corner, as seen in this screen shot, that will give the popup that's shown and you can choose to show the sku on that page

I think you can see in my screen shot that it is from my Seller Hub - Awaiting Shipment page and there is no link to click to customize the page. My active listings page has that link but my Orders pages do not have it. Where your page says "Customize | Print", mine says "Print | Download Report". I did read all of the previous comments, view the pictures, and double/triple check my pages. I even tried to use find on page with the browser and I started to type in Customize and there is no link on that page for me. I checked it in Chrome and in Opera, just in case it might be the browser and they were both the same. Thank you for your suggestion, I do appreciate it, but that is not the solution for my situation. I don't understand why it would be there for others, and be there on other pages of mine, and not be there on the page I need it. We do have a Premium store with Selling Manager Pro.

sorry I didn't see that screenshot............did you try to go back to previous version? option is in upper right corner

I did try to go back to the previous version. I can't remember exactly what the message was but it didn't work. I only tried that once, because since then I have read about many in the community that opted to go back to the previous version, wanted to get back to the more recent version, and was not able to find a way to do it. Beacause of reading those comments/questions, from many other members, I have been very hesitant to try it again. In the mean time I have decided to just put my inventory numbers in the Item Specifics when making the listing. That isn't really scalable, but it will work for now and hopefully this will get sorted out in the near future. Thank you for your input.

Hello everybody. Having some issues viewing the "custom label" field on our active listings page in sales manager. It always shows a zero or a 1 or some sort of a number even though we have not entered anything.
When we do enter a number, it writes over it making it almost unreadable. For example the first listing on the page initially has a 0 and when we enter 123.01 it writes the 1 over the 0 making it look weird. It's fine on any other page (sold listings, waiting to be shipped etc.) it's only on the "active' listings page.
Tried entering nothing and saving but always goes back to the number that is there initially (not entered by us).
Anyone else having the same issue? Screenshot attached.
