Videos not showing on listing

I've uploaded videos to several of my listings. They are not showing when I go to the view listing page. I do see the video when I click to revise/edit the listing. It doesn't say "Under Review" so I'm assuming it got approved. Why are my videos not showing?

First, when you initially post them, do you see them fully upload and then go to "under review"?

Second, if they do go "under review" but then later do not appear in the listing, it appears whatever is reviewing them may be deciding to not approve them...?

What are the nature of the items where the videos aren't being allowed in the listings?

 Why are my videos not showing?

More than likely an eBay "glitch". My videos stopped showing when I try to find/play them in windows. Videos are available on my android eBay application and work fine.

Most significant eBay glitches are noticed and fixed by eBay in 1 to 6 months. I noticed my videos missing in windows a few weeks ago. The problem could be tied to specific browsers.

Thanks. I did some checking and videos are not showing in Safari, Chrome or Firefox browsers, but they are visible on the eBay app. Hoping this gets fixed soon.

Yes, they were fully uploaded and marked "under review." 24 hours later the "under review" status disappeared but the video clip is still visible.

The videos are of fabric swatches.

Don't worry, as soon as eBay acknowledges there is a problem, adds the "Glitch" to their work list, prioritizes the seriousness of the glitch and then assigns product development team member(s) to resolve the issue the "Glitch" will be resolved. I don't believe eBay has a testing phase, so that should speed up the process (with maybe a few more introduced glitches). 🙄

I had a video on my listing but it’s vanished.

 I liked it.  It was artistic and cuckoo but again I liked it and want it back.

 Just tried to Re upload it but error message said doesn’t support .movie videos…

Can not even show it here to this board.  Another  Error message…

You can also embed YouTube videos (and other video hosts, mentioned on the link below) as a backup or better compatibility method. This may also have the added side-effect of luring more buyers to your listings. Search the web for "embed youtube video ebay" and you'll find some sites that will generate the HTML you can paste into the listing to embed your YouTube video. This is allowed under the external links policy, just make sure there's no off-site method mentioned to purchase said product on your external video.

I had the same thing happen.  I posted a video and didn't see it right away because it was, "under review," which was understandable.  Today I looked, and the video was still not showing in the listing, though when I went to edit the listing, it was there.  I opened the same item on my phone app (iphone) and the video was there, and played.  It just doesn't show on my desktop computer.

My video was up for a while.

It’s for a vintage movie poster listing.

 I just read this thread and happened to check up on it.

Now find video gone!

I am having the opposite issue..   I can see on laptop but not on my phone.  Asked my sister to check on her phone and it wasn't there!

Talked with a live Ebay person last night regarding the "video situation".  A work order was created.  No idea how long it will take to fix it.  Hopefully, its an easy fix.

I can see the videos on my listings using my laptop but no one else can see them.  I cannot see the videos on my phone.

I can see your videos on a pc.........the dog and the Hallmark one.
