VeROed for violation of parallel import on SOLD item

My account was suspended temporary for 7 days for violation on parallel import on SOLD item today. (For CK)

I was previously suspended for 3 days for the same reason. Immediately, I went and remove international shipping option for all my CK items.

But today I was suspended again, this time for 7 days. When calling the agent, they told me the listing was for a SOLD item!

There is nothing I can do about the sold items. This get me really worried since I cannot change the shipping preference for items that I have already sold.

Has anyone have the same experience? I am a mother of 2 and the sole income provider. Being restricted really hurt me...

You are the 2nd poster to come here recently regarding sanctions concerning "solds" in violation.  Can you delete those solds?

Can you also turn off the inventory feature that allows you to edit the quantity of a sold and make that listing live again/keeps the listing resident?

VeROed for violation of parallel import on SOLD item

What items are in question?

Often times the Vero complaint for "Parallel Import" policy is not applied in a manner that is legal. It's a very gray area if you're a seller that is not legally bound to any rules instituted by a property rights owner for their authorized sellers (this is again, assuming the item is authentic).

SCEA (Sony Corporation Entertainment of America) tried (or whoever manages their Vero complaints for eBay) to have eBay file a policy violation for shipping PlayStation 4 consoles to Europe when they were first released. I wasn't the only seller that was affected by this policy. Enough of us complained to eBay and Sony directly that they eventually reversed decision and we were allowed to continue to ship the consoles outside the U.S.

I'm willing to bet that unless the item is something that is prohibited from being sold / Imported into other countries you're probably not doing anything legally wrong, but the burden is on you to prove that and it is most likely easier to just stop selling that item
