Buyers that accidentally choose Local Pickup option when they need the item shipped

This has happened twice in the last few months. A buyer chooses the Local Pickup option when they live in another state and need the item shipped.  I have had to cancel the sale and let the buyer repurchase the item with shipping.  Is there an easier way?

NO. That is the way it is.

I stopped offering local pick-up as an option entirely for this reason, got really tired of paying that $0.30 transaction fee, going back and forth with the buyer, having to relist, etc.

You could always put something in the description to let buyers know they can contact you if they're interested in pick-up, then add it to the listing if necessary.
