Variations

When I create a new listing, the option to create variations doesn't appear. It goes:

title

subtitle

custom label

category

condition

condition description

photos

etc.

No option for variations. Any insight?

 Hi, are you attempting to create the listing using the eBay app on a mobile device? If so, you will not be able to do so.

I just checked out your listings and noticed a large amount are in the eBay Motors category. Items listed in that category are not able to include variations.

Here's the link to which categories of listings are able to support variations.

Actually I was wrong! I am able to create a listing with variations in the eBay Motors category. I just tried it and the "Add variations" option is there.

Still, it's worth reviewing the link from my previous post to see which categories are supported. I am guessing the one you are having trouble with is not supported?

If you're using the Advanced version of the listing form (AKA the business tool) then if the option to use the Variations format isn't shown, it means you've chosen a category/subcategory that doesn't support it.

OR you're trying to do a listing using sell similar instead of starting from scratch.

That's what it is, wrong category. I assumed it was available for everything. Thank you.

Yeah, I have a bunch of collectable beer cans and steins with slight variations, that I wanted to sell. They're not the right type of collectable, it looks like.

Click on the "Sell" tab at the top of the page
Scroll down to "Drafts"
Click on "Create a Listing" on the right side of the page
Choose "Multiple Listing" from the drop down menu
