GTC listings do not pause while you are on vacation. They will roll over on their regular date each month and will use up one of your free insertions if available.

Your listings are live but not available for purchase.
They do not go to your Unsold list, and they will relist if they reach the renewal date.
Be careful that in addition to making your Vacation choices that you also make the listings invisible.
Other wise you will have an annoyed customer who paid on July 9, expected you to ship on July 10, because he never read the banner that said you are away, and will open an Item Not Received Dispute when his purchase does not arrive by July 20.

Don't forget there are 2 types of vacations you can go on. One allows your listings to still be visible in the search line-up with a message you are not processing orders and THERE MAY BE A DELAY, you can still have sales. The other hides your listings from view and looks like you have no inventory at all, nothing can be sold. If you pick the later depending on how many listings you have it can take hours for them to reappear once you return. In both cases you still pay and the inventory is still in your active listings.

u can end in bulk and re-list in bulk, but you cannot list 'sell similar' in bulk

Of course, vacation mode can only be activated by those who have a store subscription, so others have to, indeed, end their FP listings in bulk - then relist after that.

Sellers who don't have a Store subscription can also use the "Out of stock" option to hide their fixed price listings. This has the advantage of not losing watchers and the "Sold" total for multi-item listings.

You win the cake! (Or in this case, the pie).
Where is the "Out of Stock" option located?
