When I go to a store through the 'visit store' link on an item, then click on an item, instead of going to that item, I get a pop up window for the item that shows the item, it's title, an 'add to cart' button, and a 'view all details' button'. The add button works, but if I select the view details button, nothing happens.
I'd expect the item's listing page to open, either in that window or a new window. From that pop up window, if I click on the title, which is a link, I'd expect to go to the item's listing page but the page that opens is the store's page.
This really seems broken. Is there a way to get to an item's listing page from within a store?
Edited to add that the path I describe above it when it doesn't work. If I were to click 'see other items' from that 1st item page, then I am able to click on an item and have it open. Clicking on the store name will take me back to the store view and the pop up window path.
Thanks!

Same here. This is why i came over. Yesterday if I clicked an item in my store , it took me to a completely different item. Cleared cookies, laptop, not doing anything wrong contrary to what a few will come here to say. We have sold 40,000 items in the last 15 years and had somewhat consistent sales for many years. What we sell doesnt get hurt by the disater capitalism economy becasue we sell to wealthy people mostly. They cant find our items, all of a sudden we get hits on our non promoted website. Every single time ebay makes an unpate much ends up broken. Ive been screenshotting, recording and saving for the last 5 years. Its all about shareholders while the code here is held together by chewing gum. To see something like this 10 years agi would have bneen insane but, now there is more money going into PR than actually doing anything good. All about optics to those who would invest. Its absolutely insane.

If you click anywhere on the store gallery image 'outside' of the quick view link it will take you to the full listing page with all the details.

Not via this path: through the 'visit store' link on an item, then click on an item, instead of going to that item, I get a pop up window for the item, clicking on the photo or the title brings up the pop up window.
I try a different browser later.

Sad. it is October of 2024 and this is still broken on chrome.
I do not even get a pop-up window, much less see an all details button.

What version of Chrome are you using? This feature seems to be working for me in the latest version of Chrome (129.0.6668.100).
Any difference if you try an incognito Chrome window? If so, try clearing your Chrome cache ("for all time") and manually deleting just your eBay cookies to see if that helps.

I have the latest updated version:
Version 129.0.6668.90 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Nope. Doesn't work in icognito either.
Perhaps it is an extension or security setting, I've tried disabling, however, I have ZERO interest in removing extensions one by one in the hope that this one site will work, when every single other site works fine.
Not only do I not get a pop-up, but after clicking an item in a shop, the entire page becomes broken, I have to refresh the page.
The only browser it seems to work properly within, is Brave incognito mode. Perhaps it works in Edge as well, I did not try. Chrome is the most used browser in the world, people use adblockers, get used to it, it should not break your web site and part of proper QA testing should be to install the most popular ad blocking extensions. (not mad at you, more venting my frustration to nobody in particular)

That could be an add-on conflict, as it seems to work as it should for me using Chrome 129.0.6668.101 now, even when using an ad blocker, though perhaps you are using different blocking subscriptions or custom blocks that I am not using.

I use ad blockers, too, and that does not seem to be causing a problem for me.

Understood.
The problem you are encountering does not appear to be widespread -- at least as far as I can tell. Unless you have contacted eBay specifically about this using one of the "Tell us what you think" links or the comment/feedback/"?" icon in the lower right corner of a page, or unless you have contacted customer service directly, eBay may have no idea you are even having a problem.
In the mean time, if you are not interested in troubleshooting the issue or using a different browser, I would suggest avoiding using the store page format and using the "seller's other items" link instead to avoid the issue entirely.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually, just now tried the store and "seller's other items" link, even though they appear to go to the same place, and guess what? Everything is suddenly working as it should.
Nevertheless, thanks for reaching out. I would never have realized Chrome is suddenly working.
