How can the manufacturer not allow me to resell something I bought with my own good money. When I buy something legally, it is my right to do what I wish with it. How in the world can I not have the right to sell it when it is still new/sealed in original box and untampered with?. I just don't get it.

I understand the First Sale Doctrine (codified at 17 U.S.C. § 109).
OP said, and I quote: "here was a Supreme Court decision on this very matter in 2020, about the right to resell an item. The conclusion of the courts was "if you buy it, you own it" and you can do what you want with it without restriction."
That is simply untrue. There are many restrictions on what one may or may not do with an item, whether it was bought for personal use or for resale. In fact. some of those restrictions are discussed in the link you provided.
I will repeat myself: It is because the First Sale Doctrine is under constant assault, as it may be in OP's case (I just do not know), that it is important to understand it in order to protect it.

I agree. I have been buying and selling Every Drop water filters by Whirlpool for years. Suddenly, today, I cannot relist it after sold because Whirlpool says it violates their trademark - and I need their permission to sell my own property? This is so wrong; the situation begs me to sell elsewhere. Ebay needs to show seller support and correct manufactures about the law and right of first purchase before ebay takes down seller's tediously created listing.

So you have no idea if real of fake> a lot of fakes out there that look good by the way.
Vero is god to bay they say eBay jumps. You of course have no proof if real or not.
