The rep said one listing was posted at 12:40 am this morning - but it still is not visible. She then said it takes 24-48 hours indexing time and mine will be 48 hours - that if i close the listings and wait until 7:30 next Sunday to relist, the same 48 hours will reoccur.
The rep said this is because my account has been inactive for over 90 days. I asked her when was the last time something was sold on this account, she said August 2022.
Does this mean my listings will be available to be seen for 5 days?

What are you trying to list?
If the item is active but not yet indexed, it should be visible if given the item number. We might be able to assist you if we could see the listing.

when i click on "view items" beside my name here results in "0 listings"
eBay item number:175461739296
https://www.ebay.com/itm/175461739296
this has never happened to me in 20 years and everybody i talk to acts like it is normal. i don't understand..

I don't know why it's not showing when you click 'my listings' as I can see it when I click your attachment.
But, I can see a couple things. Starting at .01 it shows no reserve; so as soon as someone bids .01c, the $100 buy it now will disappear.
You put C26 in the Title- which means nothing to no one. You need to put the size in the title (had to scroll to description and hunt/peck to find it. Put it in the title.

I see MEDIUM TALL in the title

This has always been the case; items have to be indexed before they are searchable. It often happens quickly, so many people have not noticed it, not until the first time they notice a listing that takes longer to be indexed. High-value items, or items that are higher fraud potential, are more likely to take longer to be indexed. eBay used to mention this indexing delay as "up to 24 hours" in the Other terms and conditions on the fees page, but they have removed it within the last few years. It still happens though.
You have revised that item several times already, and every time it is revised, the indexing has to be started over again. That is because around 20 years ago, some scam sellers would post a listing that followed all the rules, wait until it was indexed, and then revise it so that it was a prohibited item, or did not follow the rules in some way. When eBay caught on to that scam, they had to start taking listings out of search when they were revised, until they were checked over and indexed again.
As I type this, it has only been about 2 3/4 hours since the last revision. You need to leave it alone now, so the indexing can be completed. That might be why the CS rep said "24-48" hours, it is supposed to be up to 24 hours, but they might have recognized that the processing time had to be started over.

Yes, that's because you just revised it again, and changed the title, about 10-15 minutes ago. That means that the indexing process has just started over again.
@stainlessenginecovers, you can't see this in their list of active items, or by searching for the item number, because it hasn't indexed yet. FYI, indexing may take different times for different types of search. That has been determined by trial and error (it has been observed).

First the phone reps do not work for eBay but for a sub-contractor in Utah. They are notoriously poorly trained.
The social media accounts are covered by actual trained eBay employees.

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/How-do-I-contact-Customer-Support/m-p/32016431#M1783851 -> Automated Assistant, type AGENT -> enter. You will then get more options.
However this has come up before. And most sellers remember it being "only" 24 hours.
So devon@ebay , which is it? Does this longer wait apply to new and occasional sellers?
And third, eBay defaults new and returned sellers into Auctions, possibly because that is their brand, but over 85% of transactions are actually Fixed Price, which allows 30 days of visibility and has a much lower rate of Unpaid Item Disputes.

i have a guitar listed that has 2 views and 1 watcher. now it is invisible to me through regular search.

What's "regular" to you?
Best Match is the default, but many use either Lowest Price or Ending Soon (especially for auctions) or Newly Listed.

Hey @reallynicestamps! For items being listed on the site it normally it can take up to 24 hours for the item to index and be visible to all on the site. There are on occasions where it can take up to 48 hours but if sellers are running into this I would advise to reach out to our customer support.

I have found that, if an item matches one of my saved searches, then it *may* show up in my feed on the main eBay page (www.ebay.com while I am logged in to my account) almost immediately after the listing is started. Of course, the only time I can be aware of this, is if I happen to go to the home page or refresh it shortly after a listing is started. I managed to score a great purchase that way one time, within about 10 minutes after the listing started.
I think this may be the first kind of "search" to be indexed, because the keywords have to be indexed first before this can happen.

I am entering the specific title such as: "Squier Fender Standard Stratocaster Bundle GUITAR+GATOR CASE+STRAP+CABLE+STRINGS"
Trying to reply just now resulted in, "Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied."
I am wondering if this site is worth the grief. I used to always have over 100 listings live and had to stop because it was so stressful.

OK, I found that one by searching for the full title on Terapeak, so I guess that gets indexed quickly as well, like the feed on the eBay home page.

A Fender Stratocaster might be considered a high-value item.
