Resolve open issues by Sep 13, 2025 to avoid account restrictions. (followed by a link)
Why? The sale isn't even 2 hours old....we have 100% across board for all marks as well as positive feedback. It almost gave me a heart attack. Seriously!! I don't feel a seller should be subjected to this until it is past the shipping time for the sale, or at least within 6 hours of being at risk of missing the shipping time.
Then, when I clicked the link I got this message:

I have the same issue. Feels like some sort of glitch is happening given how random it is.(Nobody brought anything from me and the packages I did send out this week should be arriving to their buyers tomorrow/Friday.)

Same here; I only have two active sales that are being shipped right now, and both of them have tracking numbers in ebay. All other orders have long since been delivered.
I confirmed my identity again just in case, though was sufficiently annoyed by the whole thing. I would be extremely miffed if this held up the payout I had scheduled for tomorrow.

I have the same issue, yet all my orders have been shipped, so it is 100% an issue on Ebay's end. Not surprising since I also have been experiencing loading errors multiple times a day every day in the seller dashboard for over two weeks now.

I just got this notice too and almost had a heart attack when I saw it! When I clicked on "resolve issues", I was just taken to my unshipped items page, items that sold 3-4 hours ago. I didn't get any link or notice about confirming my account, looks like it was because I have unshipped items?
Is this a glitch eBay has acknowledged yet? I am wondering if I need to call eBay to make sure I didn't do anything wrong. I have no INRs/INADs or other cases and all of my items sold have had tracking, no policy violations of any kind, no negative feedback etc. I can't imagine what the problem could be.

I had to upload my drivers license as well as provide tracking information for items just sold! I have been selling on eBay since 2001. After 67,000 sales, they want to know who I am? **bleep**. My FB is 100%, I am a Top Rated Seller and here are my Seller Ratings:

I got it this evening (09/10) too. I have no unshipped purchases and all shipped items have tracking because I use ebay shipping labels. Must be a glitch in the system. Hope it's fixed before the sytem does harm to our accounts.

Got this tonight too, really freaked me out. I updated my license but I had no sold orders that weren’t shipped even though it was telling me I had to update tracking info. I print all my labels from eBay so all my orders have the tracking number and everything sold has an acceptance scan too. I called cs and got transferred to a specialist in the US, he was confused about the demand for tracking info too…. He passed my account on for verification review… hopefully everything goes okay. I thought it was just me, but it appears to be a glitch. Hopefully none of us get screwed over by this. I just got my store showing its inventory again after last week’s glitch. 😕

Hey @wastingtime101! Thank you for reporting this issue. There is a sitewide ticket open for sellers being requested to upload tracking, but all orders have tracking information. The ticket is currently being looked at for resolution under ALERT16176.

I got the same message over night on one of my accounts. Few hours later got the
"Selling privileges have been restored" message.

Good morning,
I too received a message this morning 09/11/2025 (two of them), 1) my a/c was at risk & 2) to provide tracking on shipped items to avoid "restrictions, etc.". As I utilize eBay labels, shipping USPS, not selling a lot, (shipped a couple of items last week, one arrived, one due to arrive, both with tracking of course) + having been ill, all my items have been shipped per contract. I thought this might be a glitch, just rec'd another message from eBay stating "success all eBay privileges restored, your a/c is in good standing", Hang in there......

You may have recently noticed a message on your Seller Hub stating, "Your seller account is at risk" or received an email that asked you to "Take action now to avoid restrictions on your account".
We wanted to reassure you that there was no risk to your account and this was an error. This has now been rectified, and you do not need to take any action.
