Unsure if I have received a phising email

I had a buyer email me and say he’s purchased the product I was selling, however it still says the buyer hasn’t paid yet in my account. I received 2 emails from eBay saying it has been paid. The email is ebay.paymentprocessing@aol.com

does anyone know is this is right?

It's a scam and a fake email.  Do not ship the item.  If it shows unpaid on your seller hub, this person is trying to scam you.  Block them and report them.

as others have already mentioned you need to use seller hub "Awaiting shipment 0"

seller hub is not going to be hacked.

its never smart to rely on any message about payment

seller hub is fool proof

There was a way to send those to eBay.  I have not used it in a long time, so I'm not sure it even still exists.

Just my Two Cents...
Thank you for being here!

@emran-7

As you have been told, it is not a real email address for eBay, and it is a scam.   If this came in your  eBay messages, you can now report the scam directly from the 'action' tab that has been recently installed on the message page.

If they came via your regular email client, I am curious to know how the scammer got your email address in the first place.

Though people that post here often interchange the terms email and eBay messages, it is important to make that distinction for the best advice.

eBay sends emails as a CONVENIENCE to notify sellers.

When processing orders, you should rely only on the seller hub for information.

You should always log into eBay independently (not through a link in the email!) to verify that there is a corresponding eBay message, or that your seller hub shows that the transaction is in the state that the email claims it is.

eBay cannot prevent someone from emailing you and pretending they are eBay. And the "from" address of a phishing email can be spoofed.

Hey @emran-7 - you're posting on the .com discussion boards. In this case the info is the same either way. You should not give your phone or email to people that message you on the eBay platform. As a new seller you'll be a target for scammers like this.

For future inquiries where the policies between .com and .co.uk may have variations, you might find it helpful to post on community.ebay.co.uk

Here's the info for filing an unpaid item cancellation on the UK site:
