Unpaid items help needed

I am new to selling on Ebay as a side business and I'm having trouble 

  I have a couple unpaid items that I tried to open a unpaid item case on and I get a message saying "unpaid item assistant will open a case for this item on Apr 13, 2020 if payment hasn't been recorded "  That will be past my 30 day window for fee reimbursement.   Am I missing something?

Also how long can I wait to relist these items?

You can't relist until the unpaid item cases are closed because until then the buyers can still pay and you would be on the hook for shipping.

You have combined payments set up in your site preferences with a 30 day window and the Unpaid Item Assistant programmed to turn on after 30 days. If you want to shorten that time frame then you need to first change your combined payments settings then change your UPI assistant settings.

Go to this page and revise combined payments from 30 days to something shorter-

Then go to this page and change the number of days before the unpaid item assistant is turned on-

If you shorten the window to 4 days- and you're already past 4 days for these transactions- then you will need to open and close the UPIs manually on these items.

@dansjeep1992   You might try going to Site Preferences - Unpaid items (near the bottom of the list) and make sure it is turned off ("No" should be what you see not "Yes").  If you see a "Yes" there then there may be a preset numbers of days your Automatic Assistant kicks in ... if so change it to know using the Edit function over on the right.

so if that is the case you will be able to manually process an unpaid item claim ... that's about the only thing I can think of off the top of my head for your situation.
