Unable to upload photos when listing — keeps loading (October 2025

Hi eBay Team,

I’m unable to upload photos when creating or editing listings. The upload spinner keeps loading but never finishes. I’ve tried multiple browsers (Chrome, Edge), cleared cache/cookies, and even disabled extensions, but no luck.

Please confirm if there’s an ongoing site issue or if there’s another fix I should try.

This also happened to me over the weekend.  I saved the listing for later, opened it back up and all was well.  This eventually straightened itself out for me.

When this happens (and its rare when it does) I usually just save the listing as a draft, exit, then try again.

Usually it gets around it.  But its inconsistent with when this may occur.  I primarily use Firefox on a PC when doing my listings.

Other trick that can work is to upload photos 5 at a time then save as draft, then load more.  Essentially if anything interrupts the upload process, it can hang it up, causing the infinite loading icon.  So a weak connection, or problematic connection can cause this too.  Might try a different internet source if you have the option to.

This is happening to me too. I found if I right click on "reload" that fixes it too. Still a waste of time but less than saving and going back to it. I keep checking on the tech issues page but nothing has been posted. Good luck!
