Unable to print first class international?

I have an item ship to Canada, using USPS first class international. No matter how I try, I encounter error saying that ebay is unable to get it printed? What's happening??

We had a problem retrieving the label. [Error: 64541-Content type Documents is only supported for First Class Mail International]

There’s apparently a glitch. I don’t know if eBay is working on it or not since it’s Sunday. Just buy the labels from PayPal, should be the same price unless you qualify for the comm plus rate through eBay.

Yes, I tried to pay through paypal. It asked me to fill out the custom form. Or else it won't let me print label. Do I need to fill in all the information in the custom form? It seems like there's a problem over there too....

I haven’t tried printing a label today so I don’t know if PayPal is having issues too. The customs form is easy to fill out, you don’t have to add much info to it.

Still, it won't let me pay and print. Paypal keeps sending error message. I give up.

Same problem here for first class international. Won't print on eBay or Paypal.

We are also having same problem with 1st class international ship lables in both PayPal and on ebay

Got an item going to Macedonia.  Same problem as everyone, I can't print and get the same error message in both eBay and Paypal.  If the glitch isn't fixed by tomorrow, I'll try printing directly on USPS.com.

I have the same problem with a bunch of orders and an ebay rep in Philipines told me Ebay is not doing first class international anymore and I should go to post office and sent with them. I can't believe the rep is right but she said she is certain ebay is no longer allowing first class mail international. This rep has to be wrong. For now I won't do anything and will see if labels print tomorrow

Are you doing first class letter international or first class parcel international?

I believe first class letter international is not available on-line.  The definition of what can go via letter rate has changed.

Paypal does not fill out the customs form the way eBay does.  You would need to fill in the information.

Other than that, I can't offer any other ideas.  I doubt eBay is no longer doing first class PARCEL international.  I can see eliminating the intenational letter as they don't do regular first class letter size either.

"Starting January 21st, 2018, the USPS is no longer allowing First Class Mail International (FCMI) service using the Large Envelope/Flat package type to ship anything but Documents. For any content type other than Documents, the USPS will now require shipments to use the package type of Package. "

But the problem is that eBay does not offer "package" as a separate FIC option - they offer only one FCI option that combines the two. Unless you choose the type as "document" it does not allow you to print.

I was lucky when I discovered this today because the package I was sending happened to be a document. I guess I'll have to turn off international shipping until eBay figures this out.
