Im my 15 years of shipping items on other platforms, Ive had very little issues with USPS in all those years.
All you can do is communicate with a buyer when they reach out. You'll look into it, give it a few more days, etc. Do what you can instead of just refunding/sending another.

When did you mail?
Have they put in NR claim
what is the last date the package shows movement?

I have no issues with USPS, they are on the ball with delivering my buyers packages.
But it seems you have another problem...your caps lock is stuck, it's not necessary to scream at us in this forum. It's rude.

I have had no issues. A couple items took 1 or 2 days longer. A lot depends on what offices your packages go through. A lot are understaffed. Some are overwhelmed with packages that they now must process tariffs for. There is no system to handle what amounts to millions of extra packages that didn't have to be looked at before. Who caused that? You know who. Want to blame someone? DeJoy destroyed brand new sorting equipment quite some time ago that would have helped a LOT. No one ever answered why! Ask the current administration why they are firing people when my local office has been closed 3 times recently simple because there was no one to fill in when the clerk got ill. Little offices are one man operations. A few years ago, one of the local clerks had a heart attack. If the carrier hadn't been there dropping off mail, they might have died! No one there to help in case of an accident. A lot also depends on how you pack it. Even a tiny wrinkle in your label can make a scanner misread it. Trust me...I worked for the PO. The vast majority of employees work their butts off with management constantly breathing down their necks. You've no idea what they are put through.

So it other words what you are saying is that the post office has to bust their rear ends like everyone else does in the real world. Welcome to the real world of trying to make a living. The pain is real !!!!!

I use UPS Ground through Pirate Ship for most packages these days. The cost is generally lower and more reliable than the equivalent class through the Postal Service.

I buy the labels through eBay, print them out nice and clear, tape the label down around all four edges and also across the middle to protect both the main address and the Return address, and make sure that the tape across the bottom will also cover the tracking numbers and bottom half of the barcode. No problems.
Definitely do not rush to refund buyers complaining about items not received. It's totally normal for days to go by with no updates while the package is in transit. Just assure the buyer that you are watching the tracking along with them, and ask them to be patient.
You can also sign up for text or email updates from USPS.com whenever there is a new tracking scan. That does not speed anything up, but it does mean that the package will be reporting to you, instead of you having to log in to see if there is anything new.

Don't worry, the new administration will have it fixed on day one.

Just wait until the USPS has to deliver domestically to Greenland.

Twenty years ago, in the Ancient Times, I shipped a hankie (WWII souvenir item) to New Caledonia. It took a bit over a week to get to a postage stamp island in the Pacific. Now it can take that long to get a box from New York to Seattle. I don't see things improving, and it's not the fault of the rank and file. It's DC and upper management putting wooden shoes in the gears.

I wonder how many package delays are due to shippers not following the guidance on this Post Office poster.
Also, don't put tape over the entire bar code, if you are not using a self stick label.

I just saw that poster for the first time the other day while dropping off some packages. I used to reuse boxes a lot. I never blacked out a label completely, if they pealed off easy I would do that but if some of the label was left on I would just mark through the address and any bar codes or place my label over the old one.
Before I bought my thermal printer, I used my ink jet printer and I would tape over the entire label never had any problems.

Clear tape over the barcode is fine - I used to do that before I got a label printer, though I'm morally certain some knuckleheads duct tape the label on and then can't figure out why their package is returned.

"WHAT IS EVERYONE DOING ABOUT THE POSTAL SERVICE."
Crossing my fingers every time I ship something. I changed my handling time to three days thou still ship same or next.

I prefer to use USPS postage from the post office and have the clerk add the postage on the item being shipped.
I don't want eBay saying it's a USPS problem or USPS saying it's a eBay problem.
It would be like on a 'merry-go-round'.
Haven't lost anything in years...
Although eBay shipping labels save you some money and it's easy to drop off packages...but when there's a problem...you will have to spend time to fix the situation.
