I had one that took 3 months to finally get check in hand. After many days under review they denied the claim for a reason which they had the information contrary to their decision. I filed an appeal and they denied based on another reason which they also had information contrary to their decision. I filed the second appeal and they paid. Make sure you re-submit the information again on each appeal. My clerk at the post office told me they use AI to process claims and it is quite common to have to appeal the decision and then appeal the 1st appeal. Don't give up. If they have to pay out for the problems in the system maybe they will clean up the mess.
