USPS Closed Monday, February 19th

Getting my 2 shipments to the USPS this morning as we have a select few locations open for a couple of hours this morning. 

USPS closed Monday.

My carrier left me a note that there a few places locally that will accept prepaid parcels Monday so I'm good = )

My post office is open.

I rushed to get my 2 packages out, also. I normally wouldn't have, but ebay, in their infinite wisdom, showed an expected delivery date of 2/22 (with their little note of "ship by Tuesday 2/20") for a first class package going from Michigan to Arizona, and 2/23 for a first class going to California.

There are going to be a lot of people getting late delivery dings from this holiday.

The Post Office is going to be closed for President's Day if anyone was interested in why.

LOL the Post Office likes to think they are your business partner and go-to-guys for your shipping needs..... LOL So then why are they not open like business are?

Thay claim not to be part of government ..... except for all the cushy benefits.

Any body else *glad* USPs is closed tomorrow?

So nice for once to have a Sunday when I don't have to worry about boxing up stuff if I don't want to so it can go out on Monday.   I must be getting lazy (or just tired) in my old age.  😉    eBay will do that to ya...

Post office holidays always upset my mom,,  but then many things upset her  . My parents were polar opposites of each other but they  managed to stay married 63 years when she died . He tried to stop her from speaking to our mail man one day after they had a holiday and she didn't get some important mail she had been waiting for,, but as usual  he was unsuccessful . She said why not ground hogs day ? why not Arbor day   ? Do you people have to observe every little f##t thats let ? --  That was my mom . 🙂
