UPC ERROR

I update and create my templates through Auctiva.  I recently tried to update all my posts and i keep getting an API error regarding my UPC number needing to be added.  I have added the UPC number from the start and now I can't seem to post.  Please help?!

Can you share which UPCs you're using?

We tried uploading UPCs (when known) as soon as eBay determined we had to do so.  Less than 10% of the time, we were successful.  That metric holds true to this day.  Generally the message was something about not being a valid/existing UPC (kinda silly since I was looking at the number in front of me).

Honestly, we use the "Does Not Apply" button most of the time - and it works.

For our purposes, the UPC requirement is senseless.

@terrycanarsky, @luxstore1, @syedmhaq  Just an FYI for that part of the Structured Data, when eBay announced the UPC requirement I believe is only for certain US UPC codes with a specific number of characters.  When I load one correctly but it does not take I move on because it must have failed eBay's UPC code character count check ... that's about all I can figure out.

Yes, the next time I get one that does not comply I will share it with you ... right now none come to mind.
