Gave in a registered mail package 11,23,2018 to my NYC post office.
All is ever said for tracking is “in transit”
Still in transit.
Call US post office 1800 number.
Had plenty of options but NO live person can came to phone.
Said to speak to a representative it’s more than 1 hour wait time.

Registered Mail is a whole nother animal. Last I knew, it did not track the way other packages/items do.

Registered mail is the safest way to send an item because it is kept in a locked cage where only one or two people have the key. Everyone who touches it has to sign for it.
And because of all that security is is very, very slow. In transit is probably all you are going to get along the way until it reaches its destination. Then it will update.

I'm currently having the same problems with USPS .I requested carrier pick up on Nov.23 for 18 packages and up until yesterday after I called the post office NONE were ever scanned ,, not even upon pick up. Today I see that 15 of the packages now have been scanned and have made it to only their first destitation ,, which means they will be delivered late .The other three still have not been scanned at all . I'm pretty furious . Tulips

So now the sellers will get dinged by e bay because of the USPS flub ups and late deliveries ? 😞

My last package took 10 days to go from Washington State to Rhode Island.
It is the holiday season. Mail is slowing down.
Seven days - depends on how far the item is going

The receipt said delivery due last Monday and that’s what I told her.

Well of course ebays gonna ding you lower your items in search placement the entire 9 yards of what ebay does. UPS is also slow loading tracking info also so you get a uploaded late dinger.....

jewel at least you don't have that headache to deal with. Just a case of USPS employees failing to do their job correctly and when trying to calmly explain to them how their poor work performance affects you they could care less what ebay policys are in place...

Reality

USPS has provided no answer
