1. How can I avoid the idiotic maze wherein I'm *forced* to chose from an existing sale or listing template just to list a new one? I don't need or want help like that; I've had accounts here for 25 years. I want to start a fresh listing.
2. How do I get paid now that a) PayPal is gone and b) for some inextricable reason there's zero guidance - or a resource *anywhere* in the seller dashboard - indicating how funds come in. Obviously there's an immediate prompt for how ebay is paid and funds go out.

1. From seller hub select 'create listing' under the listings heading, or go directly here:
https://bulksell.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SingleList
2. Read this page including the FAQ and let us know if you have any questions about the process.

I'm back. While that second link is informative there's no way to link a bank account. (And ebay's lousy advice about "payments" makes no distinction between seller and buyer, but that's beside the point.)
There's literally no place to add this bank account, which without PayPal anymore, means you can list and sell but you can't get paid.

Well, you can't list until you are done with the Managed Payments sign up and approval procedures. Once you have a checking account linked and you give up your SSN so you are ready to include you on-line sales with your income TAXES you will get to wait up to three weeks for your payouts as a 'new' seller. Choose carefully for your first three listings because that is the maximum new sellers can start with for some unexplained amount of time that seems to vary among 'new' sellers.

The only thing there is a link to this, which circles me back to what I've seen two dozen times. Frustrating. https://www.ebay.com/sl/sell?sr=wnstart

Then ebay has succeeded in creating an impenetrable loop - can't sell without a payment account and can't establish a payment account in order to sell. I don't mean to put this back on anyone's lap here but that's literally all there is in these pages...

At the very top of the listing page is:
with a blank space to enter what you are selling........
On the next page is a bunch of suggestions..........scroll to the bottom to "continue without selecting a product"..
on the payment problem..........I'd start at

I am assuming you have another account that you are attempting to sign up to MP with.
All I can suggest is to check your eBay messages in that account and see when you were invited to join MP - there are most likely a few notifications you will have missed.
You may have left it too late as MP has been rolling out since 2018, but if you want advice about how to link accounts and provide details you would be best contacting:
Click on this link, then scroll down to the bottom of the page to find your options for contact the Managed Payments team:

In mine there's no "continue without selecting a product". It simply doesn't appear.
As for collecting sales amounts, that too appears nowhere in the dashboard nor have any of the helpful links folks have provided here, all of which are appreciated, gotten me to a bank entry area. And eBay, true to form, doesn't reply to messages.
Sorry to put everyone through all this. The interface is simply defective.

Thanks, I'll try there too. And no, none of this has any association with or connection to another account. This is a replacement account after a few years of inactivity. (Never thought I'd miss Turbo Lister or Mister Lister either...)

If you are using the same email address and computer, the accounts are going to be linked. As suggested, go back to that old account and look for messages there. Even if that account was not being used, it should still be getting messages from eBay. Until you get signed up for MP you can't sell, which maybe why you are running into issues and seeing what you are seeing. The system may not be allowing you to go past X point until the old dormant account is deleated or updated.

Email address are completely different. Computer is new. Even the address is changed since the last account. That account is long gone.
No messages in the only other active account, which is for very small business excess inventory and parts. Just checked it.
There's no connection to anything else anywhere. There are no messages. And there are no prompts in the setup. Even chat is dead - says we'll be with you in less than a minute for half an hour straight. Nothing.
I'm done. Deleting this account and going elsewhere. I appreciate all the helpful replies and the great civility in the community. Good people. Wish the host were...
