Trump Shoes that were released today for $399 are selling for thousands

Saw an article that some Gold shoes he just released today already sold out after a few hours. I looked at ebay comps and people are flipping them for thousands (I guess because only 1000 pairs were made).

This is not a political thread. Just thought the whole thing was crazy.

It isn't retail arbitrage if a seller purchases the stock has it shipped to them and then sells it.  Just normal selling.

It is unlikely that since they sold out so fast that any seller had the time to wait to sell a pair here, then order them to be shipped to the buyer.

Follow up.  Looks like the seller and shoes were removed a long with their sales.  Yesterday there were 70 pairs available.  Now there's 777 pairs going for ridiculous prices.

Poop de jour! I only wish that I had gotten in early and purchased a few dozen of those. I'm not a fan of the man but that has never gotten into my way of trying to make a buck or two. I've always said that I'd sell my  very own 77 year old mother's wheelchair if I could sell it for twice what she paid.

No, I just followed up on the sellers ID.  It looks like they were shut down.  They had 2 listings, one sold and another one was still up for sale.  Now it shows no sales or listings.
