Haven't heard any reports this week. It was a problem a week or two ago. Have you tried a different browser or device? Are you getting any kind of error message?

Yes I have been getting "It looks like there's a problem with this listing. Sorry, something went wrong. Please wait a moment and try again."

and also; same msg

Same message. Earlier today when I got the message and tried to relist, it worked on the 2nd or 3rd try. Now it just keeps failing every time I try to submit the listing. At least I was able to save the listing to Draft.

I called Customer Support and reported this problem of being unable to list. The Service request # is:
1-349549822636. I'm trying to list using a desktop computer and Chrome browser. Is anyone able to list successfully?

I think it has to do with those insipid "item specifics" they mandated by July 12th (today). I just tried to re-list items that I had taken down to tweak and got the same message. I posted a couple of weeks ago that I thought the "used" descriptor for trading cards was terrible and that I would not be using it. In fact, I told them (C.S.) that I had two choices provided in the drop down box: Used and Blank. I told them I would choose Blank over used and was told that they were still perfecting that "specific" and that "New" would be a choice soon. Fast forward - can't re-list now. Haven't tried clicking "used" as a descriptor because it's now a matter of principle. Don't want to wake the house screeching at the C.S rep tonight, but will "speak" to someone tomorrow. Note: Always ask for a Supervisor. It takes more holding time or a callback, but it feels better when someone higher up the chain does nothing at all to solve the issue. If anything of note comes from my call, I will forward the info.

I think you found the problem. In Collectibles -> Postcards there is a Condition item specific with 3 choices:
- , New, Used. I sell vintage postcards which are 70 - 100 years old, so I NEVER select New. I select Used if there is writing, a stamp, album marks, or other indications of use. Otherwise I always selected "-" but that is now causing the error message: "It looks like there's a problem with this listing.
If I select "New" or "Used" the item gets listed. If I select "-" the item no longer gets listed. Today I noticed a red asterisk in front of certain fields and wondered what it meant. It looks like it is indicating a required field. An asterisk was in front of the Condition field. If "-" is a choice presented for Condition, then it appears that it is no longer considered a valid choice. eBay needs to make it a valid choice (my preference) or remove it from the drop down list since selecting it invalidates the entire listing.

I tried making revisions to some of my listings. Some went thru and some got the same error message that everyone else is receiving. Just tried to relist an unsold item and got the error message. I am getting more and more tired of this site.

As promised, I spoke with eBay CS yesterday about the "item specifics" update and the "used" descriptor, and was once again "dazzled" by the superior ability of these minions to do or know nothing whatsoever. The droid with which I spoke listened intently, agreed that I had an issue, apologized profusely, and promised to send my concerns on to a higher power. I asked to speak to this higher power and was promptly given a detailed explanation in a language I did not understand as to why, if I were allowed, it would more than likely cause an extreme delay and wait time and the "supervisor" was more than likely visiting another planet.
On a positive note (if one can call it that), I did experiment with re-listing using the "used" descriptor in the condition item specific and Lo and Behold!...success! Whodathunkit! So, all you lowly sellers out there who are trying to further your sales and funnel money to eBay in the process, just click on that "used" descriptor and all will be well. Personally, I'm going to rely on the intelligence of the card-buying market to overlook that terrible but *required specific and go to the detailed description for condition (and maybe view the pictures!)
