In last 3 months I noticed huge decline in traffic over the night. It dropped down from 250.000 monthly impressions to 30.000 and sales dropped down from 50 to 5. I do follow all eBay rules, called eBay 3 times and every time i get different answer with no solution. One of them even act like she is doing something but no success.
I sell same products on other places and have no problems there - sells and traffic are steady.
After almost 5 years here on eBay I don't know what is going on but it looks like eBay puts me on standby without any reason.
It looks like eBay Help Center and eBay itself doesn't care about sellers as it did before.
Does anyone had the same problem and what are possible solutions?
Maybe it's time to close the store here since it is waist of time and money at the moment.

Your sales certainly don't look good in March/April, but you have over 50 in May.......so they seemed to have recovered?

Your inventory is very interesting !! I see a few of your listings where you have a good many watchers. And your sales have increased lately !! I mean you will experience up and down periods ! Regardless if it's here on ebay or other venues !! If some of your inventory listed here isn't moving then relocate those pieces to your other venues !! And vice versa !! Some items as you know just don't sell !! And I wouldn't waste time on them !! I know you have invested in them but sometimes you just lower the prices to get rid of them even if it means a loss on the product !! A loss is better than a total loss anytime !! That's just the gamble you take !! Good Luck

Hi,
I apologize but I don't know where did you get those numbers because it would be a dream if I recover that way and make 50 sales again.
Or maybe someone just kidnapped my account and I don't see those sales on my account.
To prior months with around 250.000 impressions to 60.000 in May shows that there is something wrong.
Before this happened I payed between 300 and 500 monthly fees to eBay and in May I pay around 80, so I guess there is some small difference too. It's not much but calculated to seller who's experience this .....

My sales are way down too. I have noticed that when I search for items they do not show up at all. It is not that they are on back pages. The listing does not come up at all. I have sold only on eBay since 2003. Since GTC I have moved to other sites. NO sales here.

Hi,
I'm aware of up and down periods but what makes me wonder is that happened over the night.
Since you all noticed that my sales increased, except me, I have a question.
Is it possible that someone "kidnapped" my account and make a sales without me knowing it?
No one has kidnapped your acct. There have been many other sellers here within the past few months - some big time that have seen their numbers, sales and impressions decrease substantially. I use to be one of the Ebay cheerleaders - citing what others are citing - and they aren't wrong about there being ebbs and flows and the need for all sellers to cross post to other platforms. But many are in a niche and haven't experienced what many other sellers have been having happening to them.
There is something going on - whether it be the glitches, algorithms, the fact many sellers pulled their listings after GTC was announced and went elsewhere - and those sellers were also buyers - multiple problems with the site and search - you name it - but no one seems to know exactly what the problems is. I do know that using promoted listings weighs heavily into the algorithms as odes your sell through rate - but its hard to keep a sell through rate up with all the problems that might affect buyers seeing your items to buy.
Ebay CS are low paid employees who have no clue what's going on. Your best bet is to read the boards - contact other sellers that post here and see what they've tried. zamo-zuan seems to have the best insight on the problems here. Look for his posts.

Bad Advice. Much better to move your items to other venues. If he wants to lose money let him. That does not mean you need to. Also if you read others posts, dropping prices is not working either.
This guy has less than 15 items listed.
I don't think he is giving the best advice.
That's just the gamble you take !! Good Luck

Is it true that you see only 15 listing? There should be 131 active listing at the moment... Is it too much if I ask you to take another look?
I can't take a look it since I'm in Europe and I don't sell my inventory in EU.

My advice Is Sound !! If you read my post I suggested moving items from one venue to another ( 1st ) !! Then If they Don't or Won't Sell try Lowering the Price/Prices to Move Them !! If You are not prepared to take a few losses on products because they just won't sell and you invested your Money in them it is better to take a partial loss than a Total Loss !! I personally can take losses on some of my listings because I Know my other listed pieces will more than make up for a few dollars in losses !! Losses at times Are a Part of Selling !! Otherwise you Get Nothing for Your Items and they sit and Take Up Space !! Doing you no good At All !!

If it was me I would close the store and use the 50 free listings. I would keep the best sellers listed and put the lower dollar items on hold until a listing promo comes your way. Here in the US we have Pier One or World Market heck even Walmart is selling wooden plates, spatula sets, baskets so those items I would hold back on. Sales are based on what folks want but like to blame glitches for their lack of. Plus your sell thru rate will increase when you do make a sale with less items listed. Then you become relevant to ebay. And sales attract sales. If your current plan isn't working change it. JMO

And my number of listings has Nothing to do With Sound Advice !! I also Have a 100% List to Sell Ratio !! Do you Understand That ?? That means Everything I List Sells 😎 You can't Say or Even Comprehend that, But I Can 😎
