Transferring money from Ebay Managed Payments to my Paypal account

I am in the UK and have a question about managed payments. As the Ebay.com site has already got a lot of sellers signed up for this I thought you could help?

I have received a number of emails encouraging me to register for Ebay Managed Payments. They say I have to do this by 15th July as my account will be enabled from late July. Reading up about this, I would prefer any money in Managed Payments to be transferred to my Paypal account rather than my bank account.  

I have read an article in the Paypal Help Centre about setting up to automatically transfer money from your Ebay Managed account to your Paypal account. It requires you to have a Paypal business account and to have signed up for the Paypal debit card(which you can only get with a Paypal business account). You can then enter your details for your direct deposit to PayPal in your Ebay Seller account.

Can anyone tell me if they tried to do this with Paypal or are most people just going for the bank account transfer option?

I have been in MP since October 2018.  I still have my shipping labels charged to my Paypal account.  When I need to replenish my Paypal account, I sign into Paypal, and I can transfer any amount from my checking account to my Paypal account.

Recently, I can opt to have the shipping labels paid from my pending payouts, but I decided to continue paying from Paypal so at the end of the year, all of the shipping charges are in one place, to make it easier at tax time.

Here in the US we MUST have the funds transferred to a checking account.

Why, if I may ask, would you want to keep your money in a PayPal account rather than in a bank?

Here is the US, you have to have a bank account for your deposits and since Pay Pal isn't a bank, it can't be used.

It might be different in your country?
