Re: Transaction defect rate isuue

You MIGHT be able to get that negative removed only because the buyer stated about 'going to ebay for a refund' etc.

You can contact 'ebay for business on facebook' and try.

Re: Transaction defect rate isuue

I am assuming you are saying you have cancelled an order due to a out of stock/damaged reason.

If this is the case, time will take care of the defect and there is not much else you can do. As long as this is not a pattern, you should be fine.

Re: Transaction defect rate isuue

If you are located in Pakistan and your items are being shipped by someone else out of New York, you can expect a lot of "damaged or out of stock" cancellations in your future, along with "item not as described" and "item not received" cases filed against your account.

@moazaija0

The only way you can solve the issue is by not drop shipping.  You do not have the items in your possession, so there is no way to prove the item is in stock or not.  As others have posted here on this forum in the past, drop shipping is a very risky selling platform and the outcome usually doesn't end up very good for the seller.

Be careful and good luck.

So you weren't out of stock, but you cancelled the order because the buyer threatened you. In what way did the buyer threaten you @moazaija0?

Generally, once you initiate an out of stock cancellation there is no way to reverse it and you have to wait 12 months for the defect to drop off your seller rating. If the buyer's threats were serious you may have an option to appeal the defect, however in order to offer advice in that area we need to know what kind of threats were made to determine whether or not it makes sense to attempt an appeal.

The buyer was asking me to send an expensive product as an alternative to a damaged product if I can't send the expensive product he said that I will leave negative feedback I don't want any negative feedback so I canceled his order and I got a transaction defect rate now I don't how to deal with that do you know if anything i can do for removal of that negative feedback.

@moazaija0

The feedback most likely will not be removed.  You were out of stock and cannot prove other wise.  Again, this is the downside of drop shipping.  Sorry.

The problem @moazaija0 (if your neg FB is accurate) is that the buyer purchased a new item and you told them the item was damaged and you were unable to ship them a new product.

I don't want to make any accusations here, but is it possible that your drop shipper was out of stock so you told the buyer the product was damaged as an excuse?

Either way: you were unable to fulfill the buyer's order for the new product they purchased. There is no appeal. You were out of stock so your account gets a defect.

I suggest working on better communication with your drop shipper and better inventory management strategies, otherwise eBay will permanently suspend you before you know it.

@moazaija0

I want to make sure you fully understand that the transaction defect and the negative feedback comment are two totally separate issues.

Getting the feedback comment would be good; however, please be aware it will not remove the transaction defect. That will still be on your account.

It's also possible eBay will remove the comment, but the negative rating will remain.

You do know that dropshipping from Walmart and other retail sites is not allowed and will get your account suspended.

Make sure you are aware of the difference between drop shipping (which may be perfectly acceptable if done correctly)  and waiting for someone to make a purchase and then buying it (and having it shipped by) another retailer. It sounds like your post is accusing the OP of the latter. I didn't necessarily see any evidence of that when I looked at the OP's listings. Drop shipping, yes--that seems to be apparent.
