So in the last month in my 2 stores traffic has been in a steady decline so I decided to boost my ad rate from 2% to 4% a 100% increase. My traffic count said down -20% compared to the week before now 2 weeks later it says down -37.4% compared to the week before plus I added 17 new items in the last week. I sell nothing anyone needs so when the economy goes south so do my stores. I have noticed the ad fees have jumped a lot looks like many people are in the same boat. So today my ad fees got doubled again to 8% lets see what happens. FYI my ad fees were 2% all last year and we had a boom year.

Maybe you need to add other products to offer in the must have category vs the would like to have stuff in a very highly saturated collectables of pottery type stuff - it is every where - the Z gen ain't into it like previous folks were. Coming up - are some extra ordinary expenses for folks like graduations (HS and College, kiddos going off to college, spring break expenses, Easter for the young folks and it seems that credit cards limits are getting closer to being maxed. Folks are buying more lottery tickets and praying they will "hit the big one". Housing sales (new and existing) are slowing. The price of eating out is ridiculous even at a McDonalds. Utility bills were not cheap this winter highest we had ever since 1996 and we are in Georgia
And know where is it written that selling any thing stay at the same level day in or day out. Sales activity goes up and down like the movement of a yo yo.
One more thing The boomer generation and I am one experience high copays for visits to our in network doctors - the increase 50% and we go see them frequently. The SS security increase for the 2025 year was 2.9% with the Medicare increase net gain have enough extra funds to buy 10 gallons of regular gas once per m month. Car insurance went up again this - have clean record. Guess those high speed racers are having more claims than expected.
