Tracking uploaded on time and validated

Why is there no way to select local pick-up as an option on Tracking uploaded on time and validation?

My Seller rating gets dinged every time I make a face-to-face transaction because the shipping tracking information is never uploaded (as there isn't one). Then I have to call eBay and make a 30-45 minute call to get it resolved.

I agree this should be an option.  Oddly enough, I just found a spot to mark one of my items as picked up.  I clicked on a link that stated I had 3 items I needed to ship and behold--there was a box there to click that option.  I don't know if it will help on the dings or not.

The link for my items needing shipped was under "Selling Reminders".  I had never seen the mark as picked up option before finding it there.

Local pickup has been an option on eBay since the early days and back then it worked just fine.

But eBay never seems to give it much consideration when changes to the site are introduced (tracking, metrics, disputes, etc.)

I suspect it is not a large part of eBay's overall business so they don't allocate enough resources to accommodate it.
