I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to request assistance with an issue regarding a recent transaction on my eBay account. I sold a ball through eBay, and the customer has confirmed receipt of the item and left a review. However, the tracking status for this shipment has not been updated on eBay, and the eBay is unable to find any data associated with the tracking number.
I have already asked the customer to update the tracking status, but they have reported that there is no option available for them to do so.
Could you please assist in updating the tracking status or provide guidance on how this can be resolved? Your help in ensuring the tracking information is accurately reflected would be greatly appreciated.

Buyers cannot "update tracking"!
If the buyer received the package and is happy then tracking is irrelevant.
Out of curiosity which carrier did you use and what was the tracking number?

How did you ship the item? We can't access your account, so you'll have to provide us with more details. Is the tracking number visible when you go to the order in your Paid and Shipped Orders? If not, did you upload it to eBay when you purchased the shipping label, assuming you used a tracked service?

Thanks for the reply. The problem is payment is still on the hold. eBay supposed that parcel doesn't reach there.
I use Pakistan post for tracking. They always works out. But for Canada they did not provide tracking data.

The RB prefix usually indicates Registered Mail, as of a couple of years ago US and Canadian postal services no longer track International Registered Mail publicly. They still require a signature on Delivery but there will not be any online tracking available.
eBay will probably release the funds 30 days after the last estimated delivery date.

ebay tracking is not always up to date as tracking at the USPS, UPS, or Fedex sites are. Sometimes, when purchase a label on ebay but don't send package out within 24 hrs the tracking through ebay never updates and gets "stuck" when that happens I usually just call them and have a ticket made for tech to "correct" it.

The simple fix for this from the get go would be giving the option to buyers to mark an item "Received" and/or picked depending on how the transaction was shipped. It could be like an over ride/confirmation goods were received. Especially for non tracked or bad scanning situations which almost EVERYONE has had using ebay. Adding something to the transaction would not not have major programming involved. That over ride could be a trigger to release funds vs holding until eBay FEELS like releasing. It's not like eBay utilizes a buyer leaving feedback as a trigger.
Still baffling why you have to show tracking on MIA when it was entered in originally either by ebay labels or manually. eBay SHOULD Be able to pull that info with ease.
