Too many "title values"?

I have been selling a product since Sept, using the same basic title with one or two words changed each time to make it item-specific. The last couple of days when I try to list, a pop-up says "Title should contain only one value". The details section tells me to remove the extra values. I have listed more than 100 of these items (same title with 1 or 2-word item-specific variations)  with no problem  until a couple of days ago. Help, please!

Hi @8cowwife i have heard of this before, but usually it’s in relation to Item Specifics. Still, it is likely fixable, but a little more info would help us help you. What is the title that is triggering the error message?

By the way, your artwork is uber-great!! 

A “value” on eBay is an attribute like color, size, brand name, etc. Generally eBay expects one value per descriptive field. When multiples exist, like different colors for example, a variation listing is normally used to format the data.

At the risk of asking the obvious ... do you have an item specific called "Title", and if so how many values have you put in it?

I assume you are using sell similar or relist?

Go back and find the oldest version of this that you have and try selling off that one instead.

If that doesn't work just make it over from scratch.

I have had listings get borked in the past like that and there can be nothing you can do other than remake them as the error isn't in anything you can see or access.
