I agree with you completely, it's a tactic that I think will ultimately fail in the end. With that said, I'm holding off for a 15% or 20% (like once a year) for my big purchases. They need someone in sales that has a focus in behavioral/consumer physiology, buy eh.
I agree with you but at least most of the sales are one day only, which at least makes buyers look at eBay, which helps potential business. With that said, I'm waiting for the sales for my bigger purchases.
The sales are great, all considered, the problem is a couple just came and went because I couldn't decide what to buy. But then you start planning.. and that's what I've done now. I imagine a lot of people are like this now with how common place the sales have been and I'm not sure that's good for business.
