I think there should be a limit on how long a person can watch an item. I am thinking one week. If they go over one week, Ebay should knock them off of the watched too long item.

Doubtful. If you look at their past posts and replies to others on this topic they have been having this bad day for several years already. 🙄

Why? And why do you care? We rarely even look at how many watchers we have.
I understand some people get annoyed by this but there's no good reason to be.
Focus on buying more items, selling more items, and giving good customer service.

If it really bothers you, you can completely avoid it by not logging in. Without buyers and watchers (potential buyers) there is no real need for a seller to log in to ebay.

You can customize your display to not show you the number of watchers.
