Time away question

I've been on time away since 8-26-23 for knee replacement, and thought 30 days would be enough- but had an incident which set me back so that I won't be able to get to the post office like I thought I would starting next Tuesday September  the 26th.

I seem to remember a post a while back saying that you could let your store open back up for a few minutes , then you could start another time away to get around the 30 day limit.  

Does anyone have any advice about this?  Thanks!

That's helpful to know - my wife could take care of anything that might slip through.

You can change the shipping time of how long it will be shipped for any items in the future. Doing next day shipping is so scary these days. eBay is giving me 2 weeks of some items to be shipped out...didn't ask for it but will take it. Complained about it and nothing got done...gives me great feedback shipping out so quickly though.

When I took time away for 2+ weeks on vacation  last year in October to of all places the hurricane that hit Canada...I just emailed everyone that items will be mailed when I return on said date. I kept my store open for I wanted spending money. No one complained and most said have a nice vacation...iit was a cruise trip where I had no idea where we would end up by the way.

A few weeks ago we were having some major work done in my apt / bldg. & they kept changing the schedule.  We were going to be without power/ no WIFI and a ton of people working in here  ... so I put my items on "time away", then had to end it ... & then start it right back up again.  All within a short time span.   So yes, you can do it back to back and there is only that 30 min. wait time to activate. 

I also want to add my best wishes!!   The rehab /recovery can be challenging at times (mine was my hip)  ... I tripped over my cat's blanket & went flying, how's that for a stupid reason  🙂  .. but before you know it, this will be a distant memory, I promise!    Here's hoping you have a very speedy recovery.

That is exactly what you do.  I've don it myself a few times when we have had major storms where there is a good chance of power/internet outages.  Just return from vacation and then start a new one immediately.  Works just fine.
