My spidey senses were already tingling concerning slow sales the last couple days and now I just go a message from a buyer who said they cannot leave me feedback because they keep getting an error message.

This confirms to me that ebay servers are having a rough time the last couple days.

That 8% number that gets tossed around does not include the fees that are charged to sellers. It is a measure of merchandise sales ... it is called "Gross Merchandise Volume" and includes everything that gets sold on the platform, without subtracting out things like returns, non-paying buyers, etc.

The fees charged to sellers (FV fees, store fees, listing fees, etc), along with proceeds from advertising, are another number that eBay reports called their "Revenue".

In the last few days, I have had problems when trying to pay. Took me 6 tries before it successfully processed my payment.

I haven't had a single sale since Friday morning and this is usually such a busy time of month. It's going to suck losing first of month weekend sales. Ebay needs to get their stuff together. Seems that it's been one thing after another lately probably due to this changeover that is happening.

I received a big full page alert from e bay a few days ago saying '' IT'S NOT YOU ,, IT'S US '' OUR SERVER IS DOWN BUT WE'RE WORKING ON A FIX '' . Maybe they haven't got around to it yet ? Tulips

I was trying to list some items this morning and the response time was very slow and so frustrating that I finally gave up. Ebay should compensate us in some way for stuff like this. If I lose a whole weekend of sales I feel like I should get a break of listing fees or final value fees, something to show that they understand our predicament and acknowledge their part in it.

My daily sales on Friday, Saturday and so far on Sunday are about 50% above my daily average.

I also bought four items yesterday, and had no issues whatsoever.
