When you set a listing up on a timer, it magically changes the listing time by 3 hours once you press list it. The result is you have to set a 3 hour earlier false time to get the actual time you need. The bummer is that you cannot use the timer for 3 hours before your auction start because it will tell you the time is in tge past when it isn’t. This limits the ability to list items.
I tried talking to eBay concierge but although nice, she had no clue what I was talking about. Really miss the ability to email EBay for Business on Facebook to get help from the experts!

I have no experience with scheduled listings. But eBay is on the west coast and uses Pacific Time, so if you on the East Coast maybe it is a timezone thing.

Hi @martinisonthelake . There's been some confusion about this recently because on the app it's not showing when you schedule a listing that you're scheduling in eBay's home-base pacific time zone. Because you're on the east coast you'll have to subtract 3 hrs from your scheduled time. Once you hit save you'll see that time jump forward 3 hrs to local time.
Also, I suggest shaking your device while the app is open to file a tech report. More people reporting, higher this goes on the fix list for eBay to either add time zone indicator or reprogram to local time.

Notice the timestamp on this topic. It's on real time but it's eBay time. Which as @luckythewinner pointed out is Pacific time. If you set it 3 hrs earlier than your time then it will be 6 hrs earlier than your time.
