The Count of Listings in My Store are not matching My count for Active Listings

The Count of Listings in My Store are not matching My count for Active Listings. I have 11,854 active listings and only 11,641 are counted in my store. I have asked for help on this issue many times. This has been happening since the middle of December 2023. It's very frustrating and I don't understand why this is still happening?.......Why can't this issue be corrected?

This issue has been occurring for a very long time. One seller posted a while back that his store was missing thousands of listings. My item count hasn't been correct in a few years.

First thing to check would be if you have the Out Of Stock option turned on.

2nd thing; it really doesn't matter as shoppers/buyers have almost NO way of 'getting' to your store as it is no longer a link at the top right near a sellers name (just 'see other items'); to get to a 'store' a buyer must scroll past all the 'other items' 'similar items' written description (most don't even make it this far) and then.. 'see store' will show.

as stated above, issue has been ongoing. It was fixed months back (on my store) when they had a site wide ticket for the issue but the problem has returned since then and is plaguing a lot of stores. Seems to be only the count (as before) the items are all there, just the count is wrong. Mine fluctuates - add new listings the count stays the same or decreases by a few, sometimes gains 1 or 2, but the count is usually off average of 20+ items.

My experience is the same ↑ ↑ ↑ . I only have 176 listings, and my store counter displays 171 listings. Since I have such a small number of listings it is easy to count them individually on the store view and they are all there, just not reflected in the displayed counter.

there have been people reported items missing from the store, but most those I've seen are sellers with several thousand items at any time. Out the stock option (which I have always had on in setting) isn't the problem, if it was my count would be off way more, I currently as of today have 40 items OOS, yet count on the store is off by 19 ATM, 714 listings, 40 OOS, 674 in stock, store shows 655 on counter.
