Teach Respect and Communication

I found a few auctions regarding websites for sale. I have questions to ask. None of the sellers respond. I noticed they all residents of the United States, which I am too.  That is the problem with America, respect and lack of communication is lost. I was raised to answer all questions, as no question is a stupid question.  People wonder why businesses are struggling? Look in the mirror before you complain.

Re: Teach Respect and Communication

Most of those sellers say they are in the U.S., which I highly doubt. Buying a website to drop ship on Ebay is probably not a good business decision.

Yes,this is a posting id,I have been selling on Ebay for fifteen years!

Who says i am looking for a drop ship website? I sure did not. I was looking for a design for my current site.

Re: Teach Respect and Communication

How long ago did you ask a question?  Some sellers don't work wkends.  Others are so big they can't handle all the questions that come in..........other times, sellers won't both to answer questions they feel are already answered in the listings.

While I agree with what you say............that legitimate questions should be answered.....there is something to be said as also understanding that not everyone conducts business in the same way we think they should.

Best thing to do is simply not buy from those you don't approve of......as you say, they will fail if their business model doesn't work......

Re: Teach Respect and Communication

I asked my questions between 4-10 days ago. I use to manage apartment buildings in LA. I would show units, deal with tenant issues and answer 20-50 emails a day. Even a simple response shows class, "Hello, I received your message. I am busy right now. I will get back to you in a few days."

Something I would love  to see more of in society....class 👍🏻  No laws  against having it but if  it were to become unlawful to have, folks would then want to possess it. 😒

That's a pretty sweeping generalization. I would say that when I ask a question, 95% of US sellers answer.

Re: Teach Respect and Communication

Walk the talk.

Your initial post is unclear. No context. No clear question.

You are confrontational with a poster who filled in these blanks with an assumption.

Finally, you end the thread by describing a personal accomplishment with no parallel to the situation of selling on ebay.

Maybe your questions sounded like you were someone who no one would want to communicate with.

The solution is what you wrote, "look in the mirror. "

Now, if they could just legislate class as well as they do entitlement, the world would be a more polite place.

Not saying 'NO' doesn't mean 'YES'.

The foolishness of one's actions or words is determined by the number of witnesses.

Perhaps if Brains were described as an APP, many people would use them more often.

Respect, like money, is only of 'worth' when it is earned - with all due respect, it can not be ordained, legislated or coerced. Anonymous

Well, you know, details, details, details.  😁

Re: Teach Respect and Communication

If i ask a question and it goes unanswered, i already know that seller may not be someone i want to do business with. So i move along knowing there is a broad spectrum of folks selling here. From the very professional to the utter dolts, if you will pardon the expression. The great thing about eBay is that there are always plenty of sellers to choose from.
