Taxes

Please check out this article for help.  True ebay stores should have taxes but not if you're selling like you would at a garage sale.  Or if you buy and resell for under $600 a year which is what I do.

Without reading that blog; I can tell you this (a 'blog' is nothing but someone's opinion, which in this case, doesn't matter for beans)

 

The IRS or State has NO IDEA if you are 'operating' as a business, and they don't care. So, anything over $XX gets reported and it's up to YOU, the recipient of that money, to 'explain' yourself (write offs etc.)

You still have to claim the income.

If you have to pay taxes on it or not depends on if you made a profit or not.
