So can someone explain how the TRS status thing works and why it is worth it? I have been selling with 100% percent good feedback (274 count) and I think I've met all the other requirements, 30 day returns, 1 day handling. So what do I have to do to get the TRS? Someone said it would be automatically offerred to me after so many sales? Well, it wasn't. Do you apply for it? I have over 100 transactions in last year, over $1,000 in sales, above standard selling level so what gives? Do they still give the 10% discount for FVF to TRS?

When did you reach 100 transactions and what does your dashboard say about your status for the next evaluation period? @bartermaniac

Each seller's TRS status is evaluated on the 20th of every month, based on the previous 12 full months. If you reached 100 sales and all the other milestones during May, then you'll automatically get your TRS on June 20. It's automatic; there's no application or other process for you to do.
By the way, 1-day handing and 30-day returns are not required for TRS status. If you are a TRS, then each listing that offer 1-day handing and 30-day returns will show the TRS-Plus badge and be eligible for the 10% final value fee credit.

Oh boy, I think I found it. Tracking has to be 95% or better and mine is at 94.3%. Never dreamed I was hurting myself by mailing some flat items at regular letter rate with no tracking. Cheeesh. You just can't win here.

I've been "winning" the TRS game since the program began. I simply read the rules beforehand and followed them.

There are some ebay sellers who no longer think being a TRS is worth it. It definitely is not for everyone.
I have no problems maintaining TRS status and it does help with my sales.

There really should be a "not helpful" button on here.

Open a second account, and sell the "no tracking" items on that account, so they won't affect your TRS status on this one.

Yup. I have a second account that is all without tracking. Works perfect.

Me too. Other benefits include preferred seating at restaurants and sporting events, and a 15% increase in gas mileage (Highway estimate).

You aren't the first to be a little 'vague' about TRS requirements, exactly, and know/think they are about there... but have failed to actually read those requirements over once again in time to protect themselves in just one little area which they are missing on. Sorry.
BUT, since you are so close AND have it all in mind for sure now, it shouldn't take too long to get above that percentage. It's a little help, but it's not a make or break part of being successful in business here. There are many sellers here who choose to NOT pursue and/or work to maintain TRS and TRS-Plus level selling here. Just too rigid to work comfortably into their hectic lives right now, or for whatever reason.
Good luck to you.
