It was Richard's niece who reached out to Quaker Oats recently and asked them to not remove her image.

Yet, the world is offended by a bottle of waffle syrup. Meanwhile the lady's family is offended people are trying to cancel her.

What next? Will ebay ban the smurfs because the color blue is offensive too?

I guess we should all just think up random words to be offended by every week and we can just cancel all of ebay, humanity, reality, who needs it.

Everybody is offended by something, but in a country that once valued free speech and expression, it seems that we now only have approved speech.

I was disappointed when Land Of Lakes Kowtowed to the mob and removed the Indian Maiden, Mutual Of Omaha also dumped their logo.

At this rate, people will forget Native Americans ever existed.

I kept some of the Land Of Lakes containers in the hope they would become collector's items, but eBay will probably ban them.

eBay originally a place for collectors before all the CCP and Walmart sellers came in making collectible harder to find, and now even list.

Maybe all these companies believe they are being sensitive, but I see timid people being easily bullied and that is sad.

Some time ago, an artist? put a crucifix in a bottle of urine and was considered a genius, didn't matter back then who was offended because the Bill Of Rights allows beople to be offended because that is what Freedom of Speech is all about.

The right to say or create anything, even if it might offend somebody.

Because we are supposed to live in a free country and we have zero rights anymore it is simply a food product with the image a African American woman on it there is nothing that solicitates hatered or violence like they said  if you are selling clothing or a book that has African Americans on the cover that is perfectly fine but basically what I'm getting at is what is the difference between simple pancake mix and syrup than anything else that has African American images than anything else just like sports cards

You are confusing your civic rights with your obligation to follow eBay's rules. Ebay is not a democracy. It is a global corporate entity. When you listed your first item, you gave tacit agreement to eBay that you have read and understand the rules and policies that govern the site. Now you have violated that agreement, and are paying the consequences. Even though untold others are abusing their selling privileges by listing a banned item, doing what others do instead of following the terms of your agreement with eBay is a bad idea.

You are still free to sell your A.J. item anywhere else you choose, at any price you choose, at any time. Your rights as a citizen are unchanged. Your selling privileges are not a right, and eBay is within their purview to administer their policies as outlined in the eBay User Agreement.

"Wouldn't it better to have her see the "word" so then you could explain that the "word" should never be used because it is offensive to anyone with 1/2 a brain.'

Trust me, she knows the word from some of her ignorant friends.

No the motivation here is we are supposed to be in a free country and we can't sell certain things because it hurts somebodys feeling's so what would you do if someone went crying to ebay that an item you sold was insulting to them and eBay banned it. To me I think all the homosexual stuff they sell on eBay is insulting to me and millions of others but in this liberal/almost communist country we live in most people are afraid to voice there option because of the consequences that is what my motivation is I want are supposedly free country to actually be that again and it never will be when everyone bows down or just flat out stupid and goes along with whatever new trend everyone else following whether it's right it wrong  and nobody will Stand up and fight for there rights if you try to you are either greedy or racist, un American or something along those lines o but this will be my last and final statement on this post I just have one more question when will you and everyone else take a stand for what's right or wrong??????? That's kinda what I figured you won't because you are afraid someone will look at you different or just Any excuse for you not to do it quit being scared and stand up for yourself every once in awhile.

I ran a search for "aunt Jemima pancake mix", but didn't see thousands of listings - I only saw 4 and they were all for Cap'n Crunch cereal w/ Cap'n Crunch syrup.

I've seen so many people (buyers and sellers)  ask why does eBay do this; why does eBay allow that; why do eBay ban this, etc.  And someone or several people usually respond because it is eBay's platforms and they can do what they want to do.

I don't know every eBay rule but when I do something that violates an eBay rule and they remove my listing (even if I don't agree with their reason for doing so) I take it all in stride. I may contact eBay to discuss the matter further but I do not relist that item again because it is not worth my account getting suspended or banned.

When eBay decided to jump on the most recent bandwagon of political correctness and banned Black Americana Memorabilia many sellers had their listings taken down.  You can't even list an item with Black Americana even though it may not be related to the ban. Your account was suspended because you attempted to hide your listing after being warned.   It doesn't matter how many listings are out there as you are now on their radar.  You can no longer list these items here or you will be permanently suspended.  You will need to find another venue to sell those items.  They are available and you just have to find them.

Well that is just wrong, I perceive most white clouds to be a sign of supremacy so they should ban all clouds, even the really dark grey ones because those could be white clouds in disguise.
