Suspended account - Victim of fruad

If I've had my details used by someone to sell on ebay without my knowledge and that person has gotten permanently banned from ebay. Is there a way to get the permanent suspension removed from my personal name as I would like to buy certain products from ebay and sell my un used house hold items on ebay too. Please advice as I'm very distressed and I don't know how to go about it.

What options are open to me? The items I sold were laptop accessories I highly doubt that it would be because of a reported stolen item. Thank you.

Unfortunately eBay rarely reverses such bans. It is usually permanent. May advice is if the answer is still no to wait for a while (a year or two) and then try again.

If you are suspended indefinitely waiting a year won't  matter. You are also not allowed to register another account if one account has been suspended.
